‘I Felt Embarrassed and Ashamed’

Jose Martins had been looking forward to a holiday with his family at Trecco Bay. But when he discovered that the booking agent, Alyson Perrett, was unreliable, he was left feeling embarrassed and ashamed.

“We were devastated,” said Jose. “We’d paid £650 for a caravan stay during the August Bank Holiday, but just before setting off we learned that Alyson had double-booked the caravan.”

‘A Scammer Doesn’t Talk to Anybody’

When WalesOnline spoke to Alyson Perrett in August, she claimed she had been in poor health and that the “scam” allegations on Facebook had taken a toll on her.

“A scammer doesn’t talk to anybody, I’ve been talking to them, I’ve been up at two people’s houses and all,” she said. However, she has not specifically addressed our enquiries about complaints from individual customers.

‘We Were Told We’d Get a Refund ASAP’

Julie Pye Gould said her family were due to go on holiday with another family in Trecco Bay during the August Bank Holiday, but just before setting off they learned that Alyson had double-booked the caravan. The group had paid £650, said Julie.

“As for a refund, we were told we’d get one ASAP but then we were told we would get it back on the 12th or 13th of September,” she added. “There is still no refund.”

‘I Think She’s Way Out of Her Depth’

Sian Carter from Caerphilly claims Alyson Perrett blocked her messages after she paid £200 to go on a caravan holiday with her daughter.

“I think she’s way out of her depth,” said Sian. “My bank account was blocked last weekend because Alyson tried to claim one of the £100 refund payments back from her bank.”

‘It’s Disgusting to Treat People Like This’

Violet Schwarz, a 56-year-old Elvis Presley fan, had been looking forward to attending the Elvis Festival for the first time. But when she discovered that Alyson Perrett was unreliable, she felt let down.

“It’s disgusting to treat people like this,” said Violet. “We’d paid £600 to stay in a caravan during the festival, but it turned out there was no booking.”

‘I Spent the Morning in My Bank’

Angelina Horton Sutton from Pontypridd claims Alyson Perrett blocked her messages after she paid £198 last December for her and seven friends to stay in two caravans during this year’s August Bank Holiday.

“I spent the morning in my bank explaining the story and my account was unblocked,” said Angelina. “Alyson tried to claim one of the £100 refund payments back from her bank, but it was unsuccessful.”
